At every moment, each of us is becoming some kind of person or another. This site is about learning to pay attention to this process so that we, and as many people as possible, can "take hold of the life that really is life."
Daniel Harris began writing a blog called SalvationLife in August of 2010. The name (adapted from one of Dallas Willard's chapters in The Spirit of the Disciplines) expresses the desperate desire to live a kind of life that cooperates with God's grace in every area. After years of exploring Christian spiritual formation and Wesleyan theology, the need for help in living the wisdom of those intersecting traditions in normal life became evident.
Therefore, now the site is no longer only a blog, and no longer only contributed to by Daniel. A small group of friends who are committed to encouraging one another in the the way of life described here contributes to the publishing effort. Our hope is that you'll find something here that will be helpful in your attempts to carve out a deeply satisfying life with God.
